This 7 day safari offers you the very best wildlife experience as you explore the park found along the northern safari Circuit. You will visit Lake Manyara, Serengeti Plains, Ngorogoro Crater, Tarangire in our well serviced 4WD vehicles. This itinerary has been well planned to suit holidaymakers with enough time to spend on holiday in Tanzania.

Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara

Our professional guide from baboon adventures will meet you in Arusha today and brief you about this safari before beginning on the journey to Lake Manyara National Park. On arrival in the park you will check into your accommodation and have lunch before setting off to explore this beautiful park on an afternoon game Drive. The park comprises of a variety of habitats that supports its large number of wildlife among which are the unique tree-climbing lions, one of the largest elephant population on the African continent as well as a very large flock of the pink flamingoes.

You will dine and spend the night at either: Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, Kirurumu Tented Lodge, or Migunga Forest Camp

Day 2 Transfer to the Serengeti Plains

You will have breakfast at your lodge and then begin on the drive to the famed Serengeti plains driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as well as the Karatu farmland. Once in the Serengeti, you will be stunned by the vastness of these plains as they beautifully undulate to as far as your eye’s reach. You will transfer into central Serengeti known as Seronera which prides in a very high number of different wild animals living within its varied habitats such as River Seronera that not only serves as a very valuable source of water to the animals but also attracts numerous animals offering very rewarding game viewing opportunities.

On arrival you will check into your accommodation where you will have lunch before starting on the afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Explore the Serengeti – Hot Air Balloon Adventure

Today very early morning you will have an opportunity to be among the very few people to take part in a Hot Air Balloon Safari during which you will glide over the Serengeti as you enjoy aerial views of the plains below. You will see thousands of different animals grazing in the pastures below, the calmly flowing rivers, some nearby village settlements and the varied wildlife habitats as you see the world awakening to the rising sun.

You will have breakfast and thereafter set out on a game drive following the River Sogore Circuit that loops through the plains down to the southern part of River Seronera. Among the animals you will see here include: lions, cheetahs, Thomson gazelles, ostriches as well as topi.

Later you can visit the nearby visitors’ center which also offers very rewarding game views, and also has a gift shop dealing in various souvenir items, snacks, drinks as well as resourceful information like booklets and maps of that area.

You will have lunch and after head long the Kopjes Circuit that will take you around the beautiful Maasai Kopjes that normally attract several lions and large cobras. Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater

Right after breakfast, you will depart from the Serengeti plains and transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area making a stopover at the Olduvai Gorge were a number of fossils were discovered that are a great link to the evection of man.

After lunch, you will spend the afternoon and the rest of the evening at leisure.

You will dine and spend the night at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, or Ngorongoro Farmhouse

Day 5: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater

you will have an early breakfast and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater were you will descend down the 600 meters deep walls to the floor of the crater where you will enjoy a game drive and explore the various features found in this crater.  It is estimated that there are over 30,000 animals living here among which are, warthogs, wildebeests, jackals, elands, cheetahs, hippos, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, African elephants, the elusive leopards and large herds of Zebras. The large number of predators has attracted numerous visitors into this crater annually. You will also have a chance to visit a large shallow alkaline lake – Lake Magadi found in the crater where you will see several flamingoes and hippos. you will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and later head back to your accommodation for dinner and the overnight.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

Day 5 Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, start the drive fro the Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park which was named after river Tarangire that flows through it. This park’s vegetation is mainly characterized by huge African Baobab trees, Acacia woodlands and massive swamp areas. During the dry season, the river together with the swamp attracts a large number of animals. Unique about Tarangire NP is that it’s known to have one of the largest populations of elephants on the Africa continent. There is a number of other unique species found here including Ashy Starlings, Greater Kudu as well as Fringed-eared Oryx.

After lunch, have a game drive in the afternoon.

Day 7 Return to Arusha/ Departure

This is the final day of our safari; you will enjoy one last game drive in Taragire NP before beginning on the return journey back to Arusha where this Safari started. Depending on the time of your departure flight, you will have a city tour (at an extra cost) before leaving the country. This is the end of our Safari.
