2 Day Tanzania Safari to Ngorogoro Crater & Lake Manyara
This 2 day Tanzania safari takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater as well as Lake Manyara National Park which are part of the Northern Circuit wildlife safari and it is ideal for holidaymakers with limited safari time. You will have a chance to experience the rich African wildlife found in Tanzania as well as do some nice photography.
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater
Our professional guide from baboon adventures will meet you in Arusha today and brief you about this safari before beginning on the journey to the Ngorongor Crater. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge before descending into the Ngorongor Crater whose walls are 600 meters deep. There you will have an afternoon game drive during which you will see several animals including, warthogs, wildebeests, jackals, elands, cheetahs, hippos, lions, buffaloes, hyenas, African elephants, the elusive leopards and large herds of Zebras. You will also have a chance to visit a large shallow alkaline lake found in the crater where you will see several flamingoes and hippos.
You will dine and spend the night at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, or Ngorongoro Farmhouse
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and end in Arusha
Immediately after your breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park where you will have a game drive in the morning. This is among the most beautiful wildlife habitats in the country. It’s dominated by a large shallow soda lake – Lake Manyara which covers two thirds of the park’s surface area. Among the varied wildlife you will see here are: the rare tree-climbing lions, including very many elephants, and a very big flock of flamingos living on the lake shore.
Following the game drive, transfer back to Arusha where our 2 day Tanzania Safari will end.
