During this 7 Day gorilla safari adventure you will track gorillas both in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park as well as Uganda’s Bwindi National Park. Gorilla tracking is regarded as the most wonderful and unique wildlife encounter in the world as it involves hiking through the verdant forests of the gorilla habitat as you search for then finally setting eyes and spending some time with these hairy gentle forest giants. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali city tour transfer to Volcanoes National park.
By 9:00am, our guide will pick you from your hotel and take you on a city tour in Kigali capital city during which you will see various amazing places of interests like the museum, Gisozi Genocide Memorial and handicrafts shops. After lunch you will drive to Volcanoes National Park the home of gorillas. You will dine and spend the night at your accommodation

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
After a very early breakfast, you will transfer to the headquarters of the park where the park wardens will brief you about the gorilla tracking guidelines to follow during this thrilling activity. It’s from here that the trekking will begin (at around 8:30am) led by the park rangers. You will search through the forest until you finally find the gorilla family. You will spend an hour with them and during that time you will have a chance to take photographs, videos and observe them.
in the afternoon you will cross into Uganda via the Chanika boarder. You will dine and spend the night at Bunyonyi Resort or Birdnest
Day 3: Transfer to queen Elizabeth National park – home of tree climbing lions
Today you will have a very early morning breakfast and begin on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park going through Ruhija to the southern Ishasha area where you will have an opportunity to look for the tree climbing lions. you will have lunch and later enjoy a two hours afternoon boat cruise of the Kazinga channel where you will see various birds, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and several other animals. Return for dinner and spend the night at your accommodation.

Day 4: Game drives, transfer to Kibale national park.
Today early morning you will explore the different tracks as you take a game drive to see different animals including lions, elephants, bush bucks, antelopes and water hogs. Head back to your accommodation for a late breakfast and a short rest before transferring to Kibale National Park home of 13 primate species including the Chimpanzees.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Nature Walk
After an early breakfast you will set out in the park head quarters for a briefing before you begin tracking chimpanzees. Once you find them you will spend an hour observing these fascinating great apes as they share 98% of their DNA with man. You will take photos, record videos and observe them and see how much they mimic man in their day today activities.
After lunch you will have a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland Sanctuary where you will see different wildlife including birds and animals.
You will dine and spend the night at Budget – Chimps nest lodge, Deluxe – Mountains of the moon hotel, Luxury – Ndali Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Uganda’s capital city Kampala visiting a number of places like the Nakayima tree found in Mubende. You will enjoy great sightseeing and photography along the drive. you will dine and spend the night at Budget – Landmark view Hotel, Deluxe – Cassia Lodge, or Luxury – Serena Hotel
Day 7:Kampala City Tour and Departure
after a nice breakfast at your accommodation, depending on the time of your departure flight you will have a city tor across Kamapala during which you will visit a number of interesting places and sites such as the Uganda Matyrs Shrine found at Namugongo where the martyrs of Uganda were burnt alive because of denial to denounce their Christian-faith, Kasubi tombs, National museum, Gadafhi Mosque, the large cathedrals at Rubaga and Namirembe, Bahai temple ( the largest on the African contient), the craft market and several local vegetable and fruit markets. Later in the afternoon, our Safari guide will transfer you to Entebbe airport where you will catch your departure flight. This will be the end of our 7 day safari.
